Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 27, 2026

This policy explains what information Kizyissue (https://kizyissue.com) collects when you visit, why, and what you can do about it. Kizyissue is a small independent site that publishes plain-English explainers on trending news. We do not sell personal information, and we only collect what we need to run the site and understand which articles are useful.

Who runs this site

Kizyissue is run by an individual publisher. For any privacy question or request, email hamsgpt@gmail.com. We aim to reply within 30 days.

What we collect

Information you give us

Comments are turned off and there are no sign-up forms, so the only way you can send us personal information is by emailing us. If you do, we keep your email address and message only as long as we need to answer you.

Information collected automatically

  • Server logs. Like almost every website, our web server records each request: your IP address, the page you asked for, the time, your browser’s user agent and the referring page. We use these logs to keep the site secure and fix errors. They are kept for a limited time and are not used to identify you.
  • Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4, through Google’s Site Kit plugin, to see how many people read each article, roughly where they come from (country and city level), and which device and browser they use. Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga) and processes your IP address to do this. Google acts as a service provider here. You can read how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and opt out of Google Analytics on all websites with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
  • Koko Analytics. We also run Koko Analytics, a privacy-friendly counter that stores page-view totals on our own server. It sets one first-party cookie that records which pages you have already viewed so that repeat views are not double-counted. It does not send data to any third party and does not store your IP address. The aggregated totals are kept for up to 36 months.
  • Login security. If someone tries to log in to the site’s admin area, the IP address of failed attempts is recorded to block brute-force attacks. Regular readers never use this page.

Cookies

The cookies on this site are the Google Analytics cookies and the Koko Analytics cookie described above. Neither is needed to read the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, and the articles will still work normally.

We do not currently show ads. If that changes, we will update this policy before any advertising cookies are used.

How we use the information

  • To keep the site running, secure and fast.
  • To understand which topics readers find useful, so we can write better articles.
  • To answer you if you email us.

Where privacy laws such as the GDPR require a legal basis, we rely on our legitimate interest in running and improving a public website, and on your consent where the law requires consent for analytics cookies.

Who we share it with

  • Google, for Google Analytics, as described above.
  • Our hosting provider, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, which runs the server in Japan.

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

International transfers

Our server is in Japan, and Google may process analytics data in the United States and other countries. By using the site, your information may be processed outside the country where you live, under the safeguards those providers offer.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example the EU, the UK, California or Korea), you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to its use, or to withdraw consent. Because we collect very little that identifies you, most requests can be handled by clearing your cookies or using the opt-out tools above. For anything else, email us and we will help. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

Kizyissue is written for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Links to other sites

Our articles list their sources, which link to other websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your data.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
